Product Description

N52 Strong Magnetic Materials Rectangular Neodymium Magnets Block NdFeB Rare Earth Magnet
NdFeB Magnet Overview

NdFeB permanent magnets are developing rapidly and widely used due to their excellent performance, abundant raw materials, and reasonable prices. Most block magnets have their north and south pole on the two largest areas. The few exceptions, which are magnetized in longitudinal direction, are specifically marked. These block magnets, like our other super magnets, are made of a special NdFeB alloy, which allows neodymium block magnets to achieve an extreme adhesive force of up to 200 kg. It is mainly used in micro and special motors, permanent magnet instruments, electronics industry, automobile industry, petrochemical industry, nuclear magnetic resonance equipment, audio equipment, magnetic levitation system, magnetic transmission mechanism, and magnetic therapy equipment. The surface usually needs to be electroplated, such as galvanized, nickel, silver, gold, etc., and can also be phosphated or sprayed with epoxy resin to extend service life and improve aesthetics.

Frequently Asked Questions
QWhat is the maximum operating temperature for N52 grade NdFeB magnets?
Standard N52 grade neodymium magnets have a maximum operating temperature of approximately 60°C (160°F). For applications requiring higher thermal resistance, high-temperature grades such as M, H, SH, UH, EH, or AH can withstand temperatures ranging from 100°C up to 220°C.
QWhat surface coating options are available for NdFeB magnets?
Because sintered NdFeB is prone to oxidation, we provide various protective surface treatments including standard Nickel (Ni-Cu-Ni), Zinc, Epoxy resin spraying, Gold, Silver, and protective Rubber coatings to optimize corrosion resistance and durability.
QWhat manufacturing tolerances can you achieve on block magnets?
Our standard routine manufacturing tolerance is ±0.1mm. For high-precision motor applications or strict assembly requirements, we can provide tight precision tolerances down to ±0.05mm upon request.
QCan you supply custom dimensions, shapes, and magnetization directions?
Yes. In addition to rectangular block magnets, we offer custom configurations including discs, rings, arcs, cylinders, countersunk holes, and specialized magnetic segments. Magnetization can be oriented through the thickness, length, or multipole depending on technical drawings.
QHow do I choose between NdFeB magnets and Ferrite magnets for my motor project?
NdFeB magnets deliver significantly higher energy products and magnetic strength, making them ideal for compact, high-efficiency motors such as BLDC and servo systems. Ferrite magnets are more economical and oxidation-resistant but require larger volumes to achieve comparable magnetic field performance.
QWhat details are required to obtain a custom price quotation?
To provide an accurate quote, please share technical drawings, specified dimensions, tolerance requirements, magnetic grade, coating type, operating environment, and total expected order quantity.
